The nice thing about having a large music library is that I can rediscover artists all over again. Sometimes, I haven’t forgotten about them, I’m just taking a break. However, there are times when I’ve completely forgotten about an amazing band, only to stumble across them all over again.
Today, that happened with the Innocence Mission. Karen Peris’ voice is hypnotic. She sings and plays with her husband Don Peris, and together they create one of the most unique folk sounds I’ve ever heard. Their melodic talent is helping me work through this Monday
