I always appreciate healthy debate. I have no doubt that at some point in the future that magazines will work through digital mediums. We are certainly making the transition when it comes to music.

My goal was to point out the two prohibitors. Magazines should not jump in head first until they are able to demand the data they really require to tailor advertising (I have no doubt that even digitally magazines will be ad supported and, sadly, web ads were also a problem in early web magazines).

More importantly I think it will be a little longer than RIGHT NOW that we will give up tangibility (as a whole). The iPad has people thinking but I think it will take some substantial time.</description>
